Open Call for Artists (Moving Balkans Showcase 2026)

Following the successful first edition of the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase, held in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Rijeka and Zagreb (Croatia) from May 10 to 13, 2025, the second edition will take place in Novi Sad (Serbia) from May 13 to 16, 2026.

The festival will present 10 contemporary dance productions and 6 Dance Scape project pitches, offering opportunities for meetings, idea exchange, interaction with audiences and dance professionals, and joining a large artistic network.

Online info session
For additional questions, all interested applicants are invited to attend a Zoom info session on June 11, 2025, at 16:00 CET (meeting link is provided in the info sheet).

Applicants will be notified of the selection results in September 2025.

The “Moving Balkans” project is co-funded by the European Union’s “Creative Europe” program and the National Culture Fund of Bulgaria.
