Contemporaneity hits the most vulnerable and marginalizes the misfits, struggling between rebellion and docility. The piece seeks a state of resistance; dogs that meet, that share joy and pain, that fall and get up, that dance, that rebel through love, to find the meaning of their lives. A passionate dance that finds its purest meaning in repetition and catharsis: dancing until exhaustion, barking until the last breath, living until you faint.”

Baila Espania, the traveling festival for contemporary dance by the Instituto Cervantes, is coming to Bulgaria, where as part of the third edition of the international festival Aerowaves in Sofia, organized by Derida Dance Center, the Spanish company Led Silhouette will present the performance “Los Perros” and will conduct a workshop for professionals.
“Aaerowaves In Sofia” festival is organised by Art Link Foundation / Derida Dance Center with the financial support of Aerowaves – Dance Across Europe, Sofia Municipality – Culture Program, Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, Kultur lx, Cervantes Institute, Baila Espania and EFFEA – European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists.

La contemporaneidad golpea a los más vulnerables y margina a los excluidos, que oscilan entre la rebelión y la sumisión. La actuación busca un estado de resistencia; perros que se encuentran, que comparten alegría y dolor, que caen y se levantan, que bailan, que se rebelan mediante el amor para encontrar el sentido de sus vidas. Una danza apasionada que encuentra su sentido más puro en la repetición y la catarsis: bailar hasta agotar, ladrar hasta el último aliento, vivir hasta desmayarse.

Baila España, el festival itinerante de danza contemporánea del Instituto Cervantes, llega a Bulgaria, donde en el marco de la tercera edición del festival internacional Aerowaves in Sofia, organizado por Derida Dance Center, la compañía española Led Silhouette presentará el espectáculo “Los Perros” y ofrecerá un taller para profesionales.
El festival “Aerowaves in Sofia” es organizado por la Fundación Art Link / Derida Dance Center con el apoyo financiero de Aerowaves – Dance Across Europe, el Programa “Cultura” del Municipio de Sofía, el Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Bulgaria, Kultur lx, el Instituto Cervantes, Baila España y EFFEA – Fondo de Festivales Europeos para Artistas Emergentes.
3XPER1ENCE es una unión entre cuatro festivales en Sofía – “180° – Laboratorio de Arte Innovador”, “Circulación! Mini Art Fest 13”, el foro “14º Festival AST de Teatro Libre” y el festival de danza contemporánea “Aerowaves in Sofia”.
