The first edition of the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase concluded with an incredibly strong finale – performances of exceptionally high artistic quality, meetings and collaborations between leading Balkan organisations and artists, and last but not least, a warm and inspiring atmosphere!


From May 10 to 13, 2025, in Ljubljana, Rijeka, and Zagreb, an exciting selection of contemporary dance performances took place, connecting regional talents with international presenters, curators, and dance professionals.

During the four energy-filled days, nearly 200 participants took part in the event, which included 10 performances and 6 Dance Scape presentations by emerging and established artists from across the Balkan region. We express our deepest gratitude to all the artists, delegates, partners, and supporters who made this event a success.
