✨ Between April 7–12, the first choreographic workshop of the Moving Balkans platform took place in 📍 Bucharest, with the active participation of Derida Dance Center.
Organized by the National Centre for Dance Bucharest – Centrul Naţional al Dansului Bucureşti (CNDB) – in partnership with Moving Balkans, the intensive training program focused on the development of contemporary dance in Southeast Europe.
✨ Over the course of 6 days, 24 emerging choreographers and dancers from Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Greece, North Macedonia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Romania took part in a masterclass exploring:
👉 Interdisciplinary techniques
👉 Choreographic composition and text
👉 Visual dramaturgy
👉 Artistic research methodologies
👥 The program was led by distinguished artists from the European dance scene:
▪️ Patricia Apergi (Greece) – choreographer and director of Aerites Dance Company
